Here's a long shot for the Django board but also a question for advice:
I'm looking to sell or trade a K&S Weissenbourn style Hawaiian lapslide guitar for a GJ guitar. I know it's the wrong board but just wondering if anyone is interested. I got an appraised trade-in value of 700.
it's made of acacia wood..koa alternative. about 12 years old.
i'm looking for a guitar for some rhythm picking...grande bouche would be prefered but i'm not picky. i'm a fiddler and will concentrate all my melodic energy into the violin but i can't resist knocking around some rhythm on a good rhythm box.
since i doubt anyone here will be interested in this deal can you folks recommend some good shops who carry GJ guitars who may be willing to make trades for this sort?
regards,
Maldoror

You can try Elderly Instruments.http://www.elderly.com/vintage/buy_trade.html
They might be interested. You are likely not going to get much of a gj in that price range, however. Probably a low end Saga or something comparable. Good luck.
