i think joseph's technique is the one of the best next next to django's. there's absolutely no tension in his wrist. and his phrasing, while slightly timid, is very clean. totally underrated player.

is there any more footage of him other than what's floating around on this site and youtube?

There's some footage around of him and Stephane doing a television appearance a few years after Django's death...he rips it up.

Wow! Thanks for posting these, Joseph is amazing!

It's great to see his right hand technique for his rhythm & lead playing.

I hope more of his videos come to the surface as Joseph is perhaps the best example of how everything should be executed (with the exception of Django, that is)

Thanks again for the thread, I can't believe these videos popped up for enjoyment
