    That's wild!

I don't read German too well ... is that a custom one-off or what? I know that there probably wouldn't be a big demand ... but I think it's cool.

That lipstick is the right idea.

Never thought about before, but the SelMac and Tele have some similarities. Tele players tend to be stripped down, go-for-broke players. And the Tele was originally used by Western Swing players ... in other words, jazzers in the American Southwest. 8)

Oh, well ... a little mind-wandering babbling typing out loud never hurt no one no how.

Eh... so were they "jazzers in the American Southwest" or 'American South-westerners playing jazz?' Sorry... couldn't resist.

The late DJ Hodson also made "thinline" Selmacs:

Yep, reminds me of old Grampaw sittin' out there on the porch just pickin' and grinnin'...no guitar, though.... :D

What is the hole for? Is that an ashtray?

That's a neat idea. Reminds me a little of the Hopf Saturn.

The German word 'Einzelstuck' means 'one off' ín English

    Just saw this one:

    Seems to be somewhat Selmer-inspired.

From the same site, meet the execrable Eko "El Gaucho"... I pray Maccaferri never had to witness this!
