Hi fellas: I took the following from Andrew Lawrence at the Yahoo site because I think it's important that the word about Django in June gets out to all. I love the way Andrew focuses on workshops and learning Gypsy Jazz over a week of multiple performers. It's nice to see the greats play, but it's also nice to spend the time at the guitar and working with your fellow Djangoheads and getting to know each other and the music better. Bravo Andrew for your hard work and insight! The copy from below is by Andrew and I really hope if you can make it to this event you will be there. (Unfortunately for me, I can't go this year; but I plan to catch next year or the year after for sure!)

I spent the weekend updating the Django in June website, including an
(almost) complete listing of some 30 weekend clinics for guitar,
violin, mandolin, accordion and bass players.

Up till now I've been focused on taking registrations for Django Camp
(our Tuesday through Sunday whole hedgehog option). We now stand at
around 70 people attending Camp from all over this continent and
beyond (Israel, England, Holland). If you can't do the full Camp,
though, and you'd like to come by for a day or weekend of djamming,
clinics, concerts, vendors and general djangophilia, we're ready for
you now at djangoinjune.com.

We've got a dorm with private rooms, an on-campus meal plan and an
incredible staff that includes Robin Nolan, Mathieu Chatelain, Adrien
Moignard, Jean Philippe Watremez, Gonzalo Bergara, Michael Horowitz,
Dennis Chang, Stephane Wrembel, Matt Glaser, Jason Anick, John McGann,
Vlado Mollov, Simon Planting, Ted Gottsegen and, believe it or not, more.

All we need now is you. C'mon and spend some time with us in
Northampton MA, June 10-15.

Thanks so much for the shout out. I look forward to sharing the event with you one of these years. (And with everybody else this year!)
