anyone know about a tune called appel direct (not indirect)?i have a version from 1938 it was only ever issued as a dub. anyone who knows the changes or input on the lick at the end of the solo close relation to gypsy picking pattern 4 would be appreciated

    Indeed, it's the same idea that pattern #4, same that you find also in Dark Eyes.
    You play it on the D and G string and let the G string open. Starts in C, play it as below up to the A on the G string and then down. Then same thing in Db, one half step up.

    thanks man! icould play most of this tune except that part maybe now i can complete it. say how far is where your at from mercersburgpa. i can't find anyone where i live to jam with that's into this music. i live somwhere where they like both kinds of music, rock and roll :roll:
