Guitar For Trade...

Hi,
I have an absolutely wonderful '47 Gibson L-5 with a Dearmond Rhythm Chief pickup that I'm interested in trading for a quality older gypsy guitar. It's a sunburst model, non-cutaway in original shape except for the tuners. Sound-wise, it's the best I've heard and has that classic sound with the Dearmond. I'm primarily interested in trading towards a Busato or an older Jacques Favino, condition not as important as sound and playability -- though I prefer non-modified instruments. I play professionally and appreciate a good beat-up, well used piece of wood! Contact me direct -- [email protected]. thanks!
Pete

I would ask Joe Vinikow. He has 3 gypsy guitars right now, one of them is a Hommage:

My hommage feels almost identical to many of the Favinos. Just a thought. Good luck on your search.
