I am once again- like every wednesday announcing our Jam session here in Brooklyn for Gypsy Jazz Music. tommorow is going to be a great night of music in a very nice basement in park slope. The music will swing, the drinks will flow, and you can order take out if you want some eats. This will all take place at the amazing Bar Reis, 375 5th ave, Park Slopel Brooklyn, 11215 with the amazing Mo at the bar- she's a great mixologist, and they have some very nice wine and beer. We'll be swinging in the basement starting with a set from franglais gypsy jazz at 8sih, featuring Monica Smith on violin, Bobby Sexton on guitar, Eve Seltzer singing, and Ben Wood on guitar- the music will be fun, and beautiful! At 9.30ish we open the stage to anyone who wants to jump in and try some Django style playing out, so bring your instrument, and come and hang with us.
