My buddy helped me decipher the French and download the album and this is truly a brilliant CD, with a great old school feel to it...a mixture of Matelo/Baro/TchanTchou..wonderful stuff...and all his own original tunes. I think he's playing a DiMauro, but not certain. He's someone who deserves more attention...he's got gypsy in his soul!
Hi Neill, when I initially downloaded it, I put it straight on to my mp3 player, where I noticed it was a bit quieter than some other recordings; I then converted it to an audio CD and it sounds just fine.
I'm glad to hear that people are supporting this great young musician, who is a distant cousin of Django.
Nitcho is 20yrs old and is accompanied on this recording on rhythm guitars by Tony and Youri Reinhardt, his brothers.

"It's a great feeling to be dealing with material which is better than yourself, that you know you can never live up to."
