What guitar is Bireli using on this CD?

I can't figure out what Gibson model guitar Bireli is using on the "Duet" album with Sylvain Luc. Anyone know? Its got a sick sound.

PS. its also the same guitar he plays in those videos on youtube of him and luc playing at the Marciac Jazz Festival (and he's wearing a backwards yankee cap haha)

I'm pretty sure that's a Gibson L5. It has the fingered tailpiece that you more often see on the Johnny Smith.

I think Bireli plays a different L5 now that has a standard tailpiece.

Don't be fooled by misleading CD cover pics.

On the "Duet" album, they are both playing nylon-string guitars. I believe Bireli may have played a Dupont, and Sylvain switched between a Godin Multiac and possibly a true acoustic classical.

The guitar in the video is no L-5 (different tailpiece, different fretboard inlays, no "flowerpot"). It rather looks like a Super V.
