Announcing the return of Hot Club du Jour to perform again for the PA Chautauqua Summer Concert Series. The concert will be held at the Hall of Philosophy, located in the central town square, in Mt. Gretna PA. The event is free to the public.
Hot Club du Jour features Django Reinhardt-influenced jazz, highly improvisational and energetic in nature. This ensemble has been burning up clubs in the Harrisburg area recently and we are pleased to have them back after a two year - and too long - absence.
Mt. Gretna flourished during the late 19th century educational reform and lecture retreats associated with the great Chautauqua movement. Our continuing efforts to bring enlightenment and first-class entertainment to this venue then stands as a representation of our vision and commitment to "A New Chautauqua".
