well I guess I had these romantic notions of some jamming happening in the warmth of a camp fire. Not so much by the sound of it. Surely there must be someplace to cap the nights with some picking and grinning.
Seriously! Have you ever been to Bluegrass fest where that wasn't the case?
Even inside of the Seattle city limits there are two different beaches with established fire rings where you can go a blaze and play...
Cheapest portable fire ring I've found so far is $100. Not sure if I can drop that.
yeah, in years past we attempted to have jams at night but they never went anywhere since its too cold at night. because we couldn't start a fire (without a portable pit) , we have never had a campfire going in the campsite. during the day we have had short jams for up to an hour or so at the campsite. maybe this year will be the first for a campfire jam?
Its $10 a night. You can just show up and camp. You might be able to get away with putting your tent on someone elses spot and share the cost. To a certain extent its based on the honor system. If you dont snore you can put your tent near mine maybe.

If Djangolology wants to pack it up there in his truck, then you guys will have one to use...plus as much free fire wood as he can haul.
As I said....given rising ticket and gas prices I would only be there if the weather is supurb.

Merci les mecs!
Say, do you need to do anything in advance to camp there or can I just show up and camp?
