See one of the highlights of Samois 2008: Eddy "Bamboula" Ferret singing! This man (an uncle of Fapy Lafertin) is a living legend. By the way: next to Bamboula you can see Lollo Meier and my good friend Titi Bamberger. I have been there, too, and am glad to find this on youtube now - so that you all can share these magic moments.

a note on titi bamberger... he bought a copy of Gypsy Rhythm by Michael Horowitz at the AJL stand for 40 euros!

… yes, and he showed it to everyone, because there is (page 254) a picture of him in that book (taken by Mr. Ted G.) and he is mentioned as "legendary german gypsy rhythm guitarist" (which is definitely correct!).
