Hey,

Does anybody know the chord progression of latscheben?
There isn't much to find about it.

Thanks!

What I could hear in the A piece was:

    |Am | E7 | Am | A7 | Dm | A7 | Dm | % |
    1)
    |Bm7 b5| % | Am | % | Fisdim | B7 b9 | E7 | % |
    2)
    | E7 | Am | % |

    Hi Tobias,

Not sure if this will help, but I noticed that someone took the time to transcribe a version here.

    best,
    Jack.

I looked at the transcription quickly and it doesn't seem very acurate: while the notes look right, the fingerings and phrasing if off: if you look at the Stochelo or the Waso Grunholz videos, you will notice that they make extensive use of open strings while the transcription does not.

Oh, I almost forgot the grille:

    Am | E7 | Am | A7 |
    Dm | A7 | Dm | % |
    E7 | % | Am | % |
    B7 | F | E7 | % |
    Am | E7 | Am | A7 |
    Dm | A7 | Dm | % |
    E7 | % | Am | % |
    B7 | E7 | Am | % |

Ah thanks!! Yes Stochelo uses a lot more open strings and in a video of Latcheben on youtube you can also see Latcheben uses open strings.

And the B part? It begins with a G i think...

    The B part:

    G7 | C | % | % |
    % | % | % | G7 |
    % | % | % | % |
    % | % | % | B7 |
    C | % | % | % |
    % | A7 | % | Dm |
    % | % | Fm | C |
    A7 | Dm | G7 | C | E7 |

    Looks strange but should work.

Latcheben Grunholz composed the song. He is the grandfather of Stochelo.
