Hot Club of Mars

anyone like their stuff?

it's michael dunn's band and though they might not be "authentic" in terms of technique and sound, they were nonetheless enjoyable to watch.

their website: http://www.hotclubofmars.com/

sample song on their page: "me, myself, and i". it was written by deanna i think.

deanna has a pretty nice voice for swinging this type of music, and it's nice to see a vocalist in a genre where it's almost purely instrumental.

Thanks for the link. Good stuff. She has a nice voice and with the
tri-cone a little of the Oscar Aleman sound

That tune is an oldy. Not an original. I have heard it done by other groups.

I love the way Michael Dunn keeps a great sense of humor about all he does from building unique (and often wacky) Selmac type guitars to playing great musical selections with the Hot Club of Mars. And now, a great fun web-page. You the man Michael -- see you at DFNW!

It's sure not traditional! But it sounded FUN, and it's nice to hear someone not doing same same, as they say in Thailand.
