Bill, I'm another one who regrets not knowing you lurked among us at Django in June. I'd like to have introduced myself to you, listened to your playing, and checked out your Dell' Arte. Meanwhile I must say I really enjoy your writing—it's so clear and expressive...I'd not known you were a full-fledged musical pundit complete with editor!
Myself I'm starting to adopt a version of Mathieu Chatelain's pompe in more of my playing. I haven't dropped the Reinhardt brothers' style; just integrating newly learned ones, which improves my overall skill level. It's all good!
Yeah, Rob, I regret not meeting you as well, especially since you are not that far from my NH digs. I have enjoyed your forum postings and hope we will get together someday and do some playing.
