Hi all,
here are a review and some pics from this concert. This year I got to go- and helped out running the cd table . . as always It was great to see dorado and sampson in NYC. The show was very good. Some treats provided by producer Pat Phillips- a table of guitars from Manouche guitars- very well attendend by people looking for great guitars. A great sensitive and swinging drummer- who by the way did not get in the way of la pompe at all! Howard Alden and Bucky Pizzarelli playing together- and Reginia carter up there pushing around all the men!
very Cool show. Favorite moments= any time Reginia and her husband Alvester share the stage! Dorado and Sampson playing "vamp", Bucky and Howard tearing up jersey bounce". Kudos to Pat Phillips, Dorado, Sampson, Howard, and everyone!
