another good example is that you can play Dark eyes with pure m7b5 shapes (although maybe the Em7b5 isnt the best over BbMajor but i'll do it anyway):
If you go that route you might try using Dm7b5 (rootless Bb9) then using the Em7b5 shape for Gm--it's not perfect but it preserves the chromaticism of the A to Bb move.
