This saturday night, August 13, Howard Alden and Raul Reynoso will be playing a concert of intimate guitar conversations, at Chez Burdick in Lake Forest. The Burdicks have been hosting frequent concerts in their home for a couple of years, a cozy and friendly setting to hear and play acoustic music.
Chez Burdick is at 21372 Ave. Marienthal in Lake Forest, CA. The music starts at 7:30, going until 9:30, with an informal pot-luck dinner starting at 6:30 PM. Howard and Raul will be exploring swimg and gypsy jazz classics, standards, lesser-heard Brazilian pieces, and perhaps some of Raul's originals, in addition to Howard's Van Eps-inspired 7-string guitar solos.
