hee.

I want to get in the school band and there is a audition on Friday 12 september. But I dont know which piece to play, I thought about playing the chord progression (with intro and outro) from Douce Ambiance (gypsy rhythm book). Is that a good choice ? :D

All of Me , I haven't learned that tune yet, I can play these tunes without improvising

    Minor Swing
    Belleville
    Place De Brouckere
    Dinette
    Djangology
    Artillery Lourde
    Django Tiger
    Douce Ambiance
    Swing 42
    Vette
    and more...

I think the tune alone is to short, hmmmm ?

All of me was a great suggestion.
If you have to play by yourself in front of an audience maybe Django's Tiger, Douce Ambiance, Swing 42 or Vette are more suitable. But I remember you talking a lot about Echoes of France / La marseilaise that ou know entirely... maybe you should do this one ?

Lol, no gypsy jazz, but a Solea Flamenco from Juan Martin and a tune called Lappenbalerina by a dutch guitarist Harry Sacksioni. :D !
