its one of the easier song melodies. it would be a good one to transcribe by ear if they are just learning. Tchavalos version of J'Attendrai is the first song I ever tried to transcribe...

Thanks for posting the lead sheet for J'Attendrai.

I'm trying to transcribe the full guitar solo from the "Jazz Hot" video clip, including Django's free time chord/melody intro.

Has anyone done any work on this already / want to try and work on it together ?
I'd be happy to post and share what I've managed to do so far.

That intro is transcribed on M. Horowitz book "Unaccompanied Django" along with several other solo gypsy guitar pieces.

Cool! You won't be sorry, that book it's amazing! In fact your post made me want to get it off the shelf again and learn a new piece. They are all beautiful and great to try out a guitar or just play whenever you're in a solo setting.
