Anyone have information about the Tortis`Gypsy Jazzer`Pick?

Hi,
My question regards the "Tortis Gypsy Jazzer" pick. Has anybody used these picks? How are they in comparsion to Wegens? Are they worth the extra bucks?
I noticed on the Lagrene DVD it looks like many of the players aren`t using thicker picks--are they using tortis picks or basic 1.or 1.5 dunlops?
