Actually the problem here is the old dog thing...trying to teach it a new trick...but this old dog will try.

Yeah, I saw a few gypsy kids in Samois and even tough they couldn't really improvise, they played good rhythm and pulled off the chromatic licks and other tricks flawlessly... I guess they just spend all day everyday doing that, and it must help to have the best players in the world be your "cousins", "uncles", etc.
