Well, just at the end of the song, it gets "Major Swing"... :D

Is it possible this guy can get better and better? It seems so. Oh, and look at the guitar. Is that a Hahl? Well that's some reeeeal pliage, folks!

incredible! Bireli never ceases to amaze. I wish he'd come out with a new DVD of his GJ project shows...as each show is different than the next!

    thanks for posting!

    Cheers

Yeah he did that major swing at Samois too!
I think that's a Dupont but not VR (look at the tuners and no green felt under tailpiece)... I'm not sure but that doesn't look like the Hahl logo at the headstock and the Hahl trussrod cover's missing.

    Amazing player, the best!
    Thanks for the clip.

Edit: Upon closer inspection I don't think that's a Dupont, look at 3:10 and you can see a circle shaped inlay on the tailpiece insert, I see green felt/leather, and there seems to be some kind of signature inlay at the headstock too.
So not Dupont, not Hahl... Anybody seen that circle inlay before?

I think it is a Barault - Bireli has one and this looks a whole lot like it. Is this a recent video?

You can click the "HQ" badge at the bottom of the vid and get a little higher quality and it's a little easier to see the guitar.
You get one chance to enjoy this day, but if you're doing it right, that's enough.

Good guess! It's definitely a Barault, same logo on the tailpiece, same huge pliage. I like Barault, he also does the three pieces neck thing: very accurate Selmer replicas...

It is a Barrault, and I fear the man is nowhere to be found on the web... His contact info was posted short ago on Manoucheries.com....
