Hello Michael! How are you doing? I have a new question:
I´ve been watching the video of Django playing "J´Attendrai" 8) 8) and noticed that the middle finger on his picking hand is kind of "hidden" inside his palm, looks a bit like he´s holding the pick with two fingers, as well as the thumb, but I´m not sure :? Do you know anything about this?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi Harry,

I'm pretty sure he's using a standard grip...I think the middle finger is just hidden a little.

I've seen this as well, and I thought the middle finger was just slightly more bent in toward the palm than the other fingers.

Everyone's physique is different, I had to laugh, I can't even make my finger do that!

Before starting playing gypsy jazz I played holding the pick with two fingers (index and medium) for years and I can say that this position don't allows to apply the restroke too much good.
