any guitar shops in NYC sell affordable gypsy jazz guitars?

I really would like to be able to play one before buying, and that's why i've refrained from buying online. I live right near NYC but any shop I look up never carries gypsy jazz guitars (such as guitar center and other big ones).

Not really.. Carmine street guitars has a few Gitanes, Rudy's has a Dell Arte, and I think Guitar Center has a busted Dell Arte. Mandolin Bros. in Staten Island might have some.
