I love Django's music, and I have a million 'Best of's and similair collections. A lot have the same songs (in different quality each time).. it's very frustrating. I want to have everything Django ever produced (or at least officially released). I got "The Classic Early Recordings in Chronological Order", which is just a lot of Django (5 CD's), but I don't think it's complete, is it?
When I walk into a jazz record store there's a million Django CD's and I get confused.. one is a collection of Django's solo pieces, another is a collection of Django's slow pieces, and it goes on.. And there's huge price and quality differences (not always related). There seems to be very little info about when and where the recordings took place on the CD's.
This music is the most important thing in my life, but I think I don't even have all of Django's music. Or well, maybe I do, but it's not sorted in a system.
So the question is: how do I get a complete collection of Django's music in the best quality? The price is not important..
Thanks in advance!

They come with great booklets, with photos and extensive liner notes, as well as info about the recordings listing personel, dates, locations, etc.
I think the sound is top quality too.
I've been collecting these myself, I have nine to go.
