Does anyone know whether the current model Gallato 1939 is entirely made in France (versus having some Asian components)? I wonder how they're able to produce a quality GJ guitar at this cost in France.

Serge Gallato insists that there is no "outside-european part ... and the guitar is handcrafted in France or Spain," but Michael Horowitz has expressed his doubts. I don't think it's impossible to get an all-European guitar in that price range (Dupont Nomade and Patenottes come to mind), but it's impossible to say at this point.
