F7

-----0-----
-----6-----
-----8-----
-----7-----
-----8-----
-----x-----

Of course, you can put a bass:

-----0-----
-----6-----
-----8-----
-----7-----
-----8-----
-----8-----

Eb

-----6-----
-----8-----
-----8-----
-----8-----
-----6-----
-----x-----

And with bass:

-----6-----
-----8-----
-----8-----
-----8-----
-----6-----
-----6-----

And for visualize more good the chords, at F7, 8 of the A string and 6 for the B string is the octaves and tonics. And, for Eb chord, 6 of high E string and low E string is the octaves.

Hope I help you.

Cheers,
Stefan.

That's right, you don't have to play the bass but if you want to here's a a couple of options for F7/Eb (F7 with an Eb in the bass):

-----------
-----6-----
-----5-----
-----7-----
-----6-----
-----------
Eb A C F

--------------
-----10-------
-----10-------
-----10-------
---------------
-----11--------
Eb C F A

I think that last one is the most common in this style:

--------------
-----10-------
-----10-------
-----10-------
---------------
-----11--------

And while it's true that you don't have to play the bass, it creates a nice 5-bar chromatic line in the example given.

best,
Jack.
