Galli Bulk Gs

Hi,

I need to re-stock on Galli GSL022 Silver Plated Silk and Steel .022 gauge "Gypsy Jazz" ball end strings. I usually buy the from Michael here, but he's out of them for the next 6 months. Does anyone have any they are looking to unload? Or, does anyone know where I can get them in bulk?

Is there anything comparable out there, in bulk?

I used to buy from bigcitystrings.com and juststrings.com before I met Michael. I don't think they can match him for price/service, but I seem to remember getting bulk strings from one of them. In terms of comparable, Galli uses Hexcore - so D'Addario would be comparable strings from a feel perspective (stiffer than roundcore like Savarez) One of the others also uses hexcore... Pearse maybe?

The other nice thing about D'Addarios for the G is they seem to be a lot tougher. I don't know what is with Argentine G strings recently. I use Argie 11s on two guitars and never had a problem with the frets cutting the winding. Now I go through a G string in week on either guitar. So I put on a D'Addario G and it lasts for the life of the rest of the remaining Argies.
