There's a pretty swinging version of "Swing 42" by this accordeon player and his band (electric guitar, bass, drums) on the Jazz Manouche Vol. 2 set.

I'd like to hear some more of his work -- anyone familiar with his recordings and have any recommendations?

His CDs are hard to come by, I certainly haven't had any luck. I've been searching for one where he plays with Bireli.

He just passed away not too long ago. Here's a nice article on him (if you can read French).
