    Kevin Nolan also explained the special credit card mount they were using to get the mic back by the bridge. It works nicely!

    That can also be achieved with a couple mounts that Audio Technica makes.

    Here's the "violin" mount which works well on the guitar as well:














    And here's the uni-mount which will allow you to get the mic in a variety of positions: way down on the lower bout, by the soundhole, or even inside the guitar.















    The little soundhole clip that comes with the PRO70 and 831B is convenient, but because it places the mic so close to the sound hole you almost always get the dreaded "proximity effect" which results in a huge boost of bass frequencies. The power units high pass filter helps but often it's better to just get the mic away from the soundhole.
