Question on Silk n Steel tension

    That's what I'm getting, too: if your guitar is set for 10 gauge Argentine (style), then get Silk and Steel 11 gauge to make sure you have enough tension for the guitar to respond with regard to volume and tone.

    The Silk and Steel definitely feel more supple, and right now they feel really good to me. That's kind of why I'm wondering if I should go with 10 gauge in the Argentine (style) if I would like more volume (because the action would raise just a bit) without too much more tension (because of the lower gauge).
