castelluccia model swing - recently bought

Last week I had the possibility to go to paris. there I could try some interesting guitars (a walk in rue the rome is very intriguing, so now I could know I prefer a selmer style guitar than a favino style) and I bought a castelluccia model swing.

I have to say that I really like my new guitar. I already had at first an aria MM grand bouche and then a gitane petit bouche, which I like, to lear this stile, but this new guitar I bought is really on another level. The sound is amazing (tired both argies 10 and 11, must say I prefer the 11 on this guitar) and the playbility is more than good, also if the neck is identical to the original selmer, so could be a little difficoult at the beginning and you have to get a little used to it, but this is its beauty. I am simply amazed when it comes to soloing.

I spent a very interesting afternoon talking with castelluccia, who is a really kind guy and I really appreciated his conversation about guitars. I had the possibility also to try some of the more expensive models,

- a tears grand bouche on the 14th freet, with a really interesting sound because of the back in erable, but i wanted a petit bouche. The sound is really sustained and warm even with argies 10.

- a sweet corus, which has a more sustained sound in front if the swing model, but my swith is a little more aggressive. unfortunally this guitar was out of my budget.

It is a pity that you have to go to paris to find those guitars and even in europe (for examlple in Italy, my country) is really difficoult to find them, also because they are really not more expensive than the top guitars made in china, but the difference is more than huge. It would be nice if it could be easier to buy them out of pareis and french.

I would like to share my impressions with others, if they have similar guitars.

I guess Castelluccia only sells his guitars through his own shop... they're great instruments with a tonal range very close to the authentic Selmer thing (closer than many more celebrated GJ guitars, IMO)
