Gary Dahl's stuff is pretty good. Ralph Stircker goes WAAAAY deeper (but caution, he is a task master) especially as far as the left hand is concerned. If you are going to always be playing gypsy jazz you probably don't need a strong left hand but if you want to do anything else - check out Ralph Striker - he'll answer your questions via email and you will learn a LOT:
