Hi...long time lurker and first time poster...just wanted to say
Michael...awesome book!!! Just started the reststroke style - oh man...the volume & tone one gets is phenomenal. Great tips on how to pick in this style!
One of things i'm noticing is that the front portion of my index finger brushes against the strings while playing and i read somewhere that this is normal and a callous eventually forms. I'm wondering if all the professional players have similar callouses? i try very hard not to let them brush so as not to develop a callous.
Also, are you ever gonna write a book on approaching improvisation???
Thanks for great instructional material!!!
