This Saturday May 30th the Gonzalo Bergera Quartet with Jason Anick on Violin, Kevin Nolan on Rhythm guitar, and Simon Planting on Bass will be performing at WICCA on Whidbey Island, WA. Hope to see you there!

I got the email from WICA, (Whidbey Island Center for the Arts), just the week before. We Islanders were lucky once again. Usually it's Djangofest NW we look forward to and then we get this surprise. I went, it was great. Gonzalo was up to his virtuoso self, Kevin and Simon are one of the best rhythm duos, and Jason keeps getting better and better. didn't get a chance to ask them why they put on the show but thanks to who ever had the idea and got them plane tickets. Maybe Kevin wanted to head back to the Island for some R&R??
