At the 54s mark you get an awesome view of Jimmy's playing and since the camera was close you get to hear it well despite Romane's solo.

What's really interesting to me is seeing how some of Jimmy's over-enthusiastic rhythm hits seem to throw Romane off...good lesson!

Must say i don't get that impression myself. I think Jimmy's drive spurs Romane on to do a really good solo! 8)

Well mostly I'm with you--I've always dug Jimmy's rhythm, but there's something weird going on at around the 1:20 mark...by the way, thanks for all these! Great, inspiring stuff.
