suggestions on venues in so cal/inland empire

ok,so i have been hired to play a wedding in pasadena in sept. it will be a 30s style event and we will be playing swing/django tunes.i figured i would bring my singing/guitar partner along and book a little tour and was wondering if any of you could recommend venues we might be able to play in the la/san diego/inland empire? coffee houses,bars,house parties,street corners all will be considered. we will be a duo and will have a small pa. thanx for any info!
