Everyone Says I Love You...

I know this isn't on any Gypsy Jazz tune list, and I've never heard anyone do it in that style, but I remember seeing this song performed by Groucho in 'Horsefeathers' and it really turned my head around. Until then, I was playing British Invasion pop/rock, like other kids in my neighborhood. I heard this song and finally opened up my ears and my first 'Real Book' to learn some older tunes.

I'm working on a GJ arrangement of it, but thought I'd share the link to the tab I found of it, and maybe some of you will share my pleasure with this tune. Maybe some of you already play it GJ style. It'd be nice to share it with us.

There are clips of Groucho singing and playing it on YouTube too.

If this is too off topic forgive me, and just enjoy it for what it is.

Cheers.

What a great humorous song! I sure remember Groucho "wooing" the lady in the canoe with his suggestive wit!
Thanks for posting the chord info and lyrics.
