Please post any ideas/concepts about passing chords or passing chord progressions and how to the create them.

Any rules ? Like, the passing music can't actually go lower or higher or higher than the two bookending chords .. ?

Here's some video someone made about them:

    Alex,
It seems you're really interested in theory. Why don't you enroll into a college or get a a harmony teacher, most of your doubts would be cleared.
If that's not an option a good book on harmony, jazz or not would help a lot.
Look for Schoemberg, Piston for traditional and Mark Levine for jazz.

    Good luck!

I don't have doubts.. I'm just curious to see what people in this scene have to say about approaching a lot of this.
