    Laurent and Everyone -
.....................................No picnic tables at the fairgrounds camping, so bring chairs to sit in!

If you camp, you can't have an open fire unless you have your own portable firepit.

I went for the first time last year and camped. We had plenty of jam time in the campground. I don't remember the name of the coffee shop that we played in front of, but as soon as we opened up our cases and started playing, the gal working came out and hooked us up with free coffee. The next thing you know, there was at least a dozen in the jam circle, which included this dude on a trumpet that really had it going on.

There was a couple camped next to us and were there to just listen to the music and take in the festival. After listening to us play around a bit, we struck up a conversation with them. They asked if we play out at all. My brother gave them his phone number. 9 months later, they hired us as the house band for their annual Bastille day party.

If I didn't have to be out of town during DFNW, I would have stayed at least a day longer. It was by far the greatest musical experience I have ever participated in.

So I recommend that if you have the time - GO!
    Just your average Djoe.
