Hi there - Does anybody have info on the paintings that Django painted?
I know he painted a few as they are featured in Ian Cruickshanks book 'Django and the Gypsies'
Any info would be much appreciated.
cheers,
robin

Here's a link to a site that has a gallery of his work. I really don't have any more information other than this at the moment. My wife is an artist, and we were both very interested in find out more as well. I'll let you know if I find more info. I would love to know if any are available. Would they make a nice gift?

Also, here is a link to a bit of text of an article about his life, which mentions a bit about his taking up painting.

As if it wasn´t enough that Django was such a brilliant musician...I have never seen any of his paintings before, but to me they look just as amazing as his playing sounded. Beautiful !
