Hi Michael, I've posted another clip, this time its better. Its my own solo with borrowed bits and I've used a backing track. I'd really appreciate any feedback regarding rest stroke and solo. Does it sound like gypsy jazz?....I dont know.

    Your picking hand looks very good to me, completely loose and relaxed, with a nice swinging motion from the wrist. Well done !

    The only thing is that the backing track is louder than your playing, but it´s still okay enough to hear you play, so not a big problem.

    Thanks Matthias, I am chuffed to know it all looks o.k. A BIG thank you to Michael for writing 'The book' and sorting out my picking hand once and for all after years of playing blues/rock.
