Gator GL-Jumbo

smilinjacksmilinjack The Wilds of Borneo & The Vineyards of BordeauxNew
Greetings,
Anyone own one of these?
Finding a bag in U.S.A. for
Favino size is a tough proposition.
This appears to fit the bill.

Thanks,
Jack

Guardian started making a Favino sized case here a couple months ago. I think Michael is or was a Guardian dealer through his relationship with TML. I seem to remember it was a model 44 deluxe vintage which is their top of the line case. I'm not 100% sure about this - I just remember getting a call from one of their reps who wanted to tell me about their new cases.
You get one chance to enjoy this day, but if you're doing it right, that's enough.

I owned one for a short time. Be careful with the lid of the case. On my favino (size) the lid of the GL-jumbo pressed down on the strings and bridge and I think it eventually caused my tailpiece to crack. I now use a seagull heavy duty gig bag and it works great because many of the folk/dreadnaught gig bags fit a favino. Otherwise just get a hard case favino like Michael sells.
