Gino BORDIN issue

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to inform you that Les Cook and Cyril Lefèbvre have been recently issuing a CD of songs from the 30's famous franco-italian guitarist Gino Bordin. He used to play Selmer "modèle hawaïen" (7 strings) that his friend Mario Maccaferri had designed for him. He did play some hawaiian music but also some wiener waltzes, marches, fox-trot, tangos.
I can only highly recommand this CD of a virtuoso of the slide guitar.

The Cd booklet also features beautiful photos of a Selmer Hawaiian model belonging to Michael Simmons ( Fretboard Journal magazine) .
