Armrest on a Cigano?

Hi all, I am the happy new owner of a Cigano GJ 15 (just dipping a toe into this style of music ), & was wondering whether any other players of these type of guitars use/have tried armrests ( the John Pearse type)? I've found them effective on regular flat-tops, & guess they would be equally so on a Cigano? Any thoughts/responses appreciated,
