- Correct, that's Timbo. (violinist) and Caravan GSE got the rest.
I miss seeing **** - anyone know how he's doing and if he'll make it back to Djangofest again?

Well, I seldom wax philosophical... but at a time like this, perhaps it is warranted.

So, here are my deep thoughts to celebrate the incipient arrival of our annual occasion for gathering and playing till there are blisters....

Oh, and to answer your question I chatted back and forth with Alain a few days ago via email. We didn't talk about whether he was coming to DFNW - we were talking about tailpieces & tuners. But he seemed well and in good spirits and he was excited about the Latcho Droms and how well they have turned out. He'll be there in spirit if not in person. It seems likely he would have mentioned DFNW at some point if he was going - so my guess is that he won't. But, who knows. It would be cool if he did. Now that he's not manning a booth he could get out an play a little.
