Sticky Neck Solutions

McQMcQ Fayetteville, ARNew
As I've been practicing arpeggios lately, I've felt that I could benefit from a slicker neck. Mine just gets too sticky or tacky (my hands and the guitar neck are clean, relative humidity is around 50%, guitar has poly finish and is about a year old or so).

There are a lot of solutions out there, it seems, and I'm curious to know what most folks here like to do. Advantages, disadvantages of some options? Prior experiences? Dependent on type of finish? Never ever do _____? Etc...

(If I left out an option, please let me know--Thanks!)

:D

Fine sandpaper (1600) then Gibson polish worked for me. Then just re-polish every time it gets sticky again.
