I would like to know the kind of plettro you use and the mm in your videos
Pls give me a hand to choice the string set and Tension : 11-15-23-29-37-46 is ok or is better 10 ?

For the last several years I've been using this:

Wegen
Big City 1.8mm (4 Pack)

This is also the same pick that Stochelo uses....the thinner picks work better for more modern type Gypsy "bebop" lines. For a more traditional Django sound I'd use a bigger 3.5mm pick.


Strings just depend on the guitar and how it's setup. Generally older vintage guitars like original Selmers, Busatos, and Favinos sound best with 10s. Those old guitars often need higher action so the 10 work best.

Newer guitars, especially Duponts, sound great with 11s and low action. My guess is that 11s will work best on your Gallato.
