Thanks for posting, Klaatu and Constantine. Nice versions. I always envisioned Rudolph as being a great vehicle for a hard-swinging up-tempo gypsy jazz number, but you guys are causing me to change my mind.

Nice arrangement! How can i get a copy of the notation so i can study how it was played Gypsy-Jazz style? i wanted to expand my jazz playing, form acid jazz to funk jazz and other persona of jazz music. thanks!

there is no notation mate, its gypsy jazz!! I guess you can listen to the song and transribe it into a program like finale or something. Check out other spots on this forum, there are definately other transcriptions out there.

Well, we do have a fake sheet for the melody and chords (see attachment), but as far as improvisation goes, you're on your own (as it should be).

I've been using Music Time Deluxe for years. It's about $120, way less than some of the better known programs (e.g., Sibelius or Finale), and I can't really see what they do that it doesn't. It's quite easy to use once you get the hang of it, takes me about 15-20 mintes to crank out a fake sheet. Good WYSIWIG interface. You can download a demo version from http://www.gvox.com.

I tried Finale's lower cost programs and found them to be more difficult to use. Maybe that's because I'm so used to MT Deluxe.
